ATTACHING EMBROIDERY UNIT 1 Always be sure to turn off power to machine before installing embroidery unit. CAUTION 1. Turn off power to machine. Remove connector cap from machine. * Re-install connector cap before using machine for general sewing. 2 3. Slide the embroidery unit onto machine fitting connectors on the machine and embroidery unit. Slide the embroidery unit as far as it will go until it clicks into place. Hold handle of embroidery unit and pull it toward the left direction, and check that embroidery unit does not detach. Note: If embroidery unit is not securely installed, finished shape of pattern may deform. Make sure that embroidery unit is pushed in as far as it will go. ATTACHING EMBROIDERY UNIT
Always be sure to turn off power to machine
before installing embroidery unit.
1. Turn off power to machine.
Remove connector cap from machine.
* Re-install connector cap before using machine for
general sewing.
3. Slide the embroidery unit onto machine fitting connectors
on the machine and embroidery unit. Slide the embroidery
unit as far as it will go until it clicks into place.
Hold handle of embroidery unit and pull it toward the left
direction, and check that embroidery unit does not detach.
Note:
If embroidery unit is not securely installed, finished shape
of pattern may deform. Make sure that embroidery unit is
pushed in as far as it will go.
REMOVING EMBROIDERY UNIT
Always be sure to turn off power to machine
before installing embroidery unit.
Turn off power to machine.
Remove embroidery hoop from
machine. (Refer to pages 70 - 71.)
1. Holding handle of embroidery unit, carefully slide toward
the left while pressing release lever.
Note:
Do not pull carriage when removing embroidery unit.
2. Insert the tab at the bottom of connector cap first, and
push in the top of the connector cap with your finger as
illustrated.
