You can record a movie with less wind noise by cutting the low-frequency sound input from the built-in microphone.  Off Disables wind noise reduction. On ( ) Enables wind noise reduction.  Tips  Positioning the subject at the cross point of the guide frame makes a balanced composition.  The outer frame of [Guide Frame] shows the display area of a TV which is not compatible with full pixel display.  Notes  If you turn the [Wind Noise Reduct.] function to [On], the [Blt-in Zoom Mic] function turns off automatically. Micref Level (Microphone reference level) You can select the microphone level for recording sound.  Normal Records various ambient sounds, converting them into the appropriate level. Low ( ) Records ambient sound faithfully. Select [Low] when you want to record an exciting and powerful sound in a concert hall, etc. (This setting is not suitable for recording conversations.) Display Setting You can set the duration of displaying the icons or indicators on the LCD screen.  Auto Displays for about 3 seconds. The rec & zoom buttons on the LCD screen is displayed. On Always displays. The rec & zoom buttons on the LCD screen is not displayed.  Tips  The icons or indicators are displayed in the following cases.  When you turn on your camcorder.  The LCD screen is touched (Except rec & zoom buttons on LCD screen).  When you switch your camcorder to the movie recording, photo recording, or playback mode. Records ambient sound faithfully. Select
[Low] when you want to record an exciting
