Listening to Music/Sound with the BLUETOOTH Function Listening to Sound of the Connected TV or Device from Headphones or Speakers You can listen to sound of the connected TV or device from BLUETOOTH-compatible headphones or speakers by connecting it with the BLUETOOTH function. Listening to Sound by Pairing with Headphones or Speakers 1 Press HOME. The home menu appears on the TV screen. 2 Select [Setup] from the home menu. The setup display appears on the TV screen. 3 Select [Bluetooth Settings] - [Bluetooth Mode] - [Transmitter]. The system enters BLUETOOTH transmission mode. 4 Set the BLUETOOTH-compatible headphones or speaker to the pairing mode. Refer to the operating instructions of the headphones or speaker for pairing method. 5 Select the name of the headphones or speaker from the [Device List] in [Bluetooth Settings]. When the BLUETOOTH connection is established, [Bluetooth device is connected.] appears. (The connected device name also appears.) If you cannot find name of your headphones or speaker in [Device List], select [Scan]. 6 Return to the home menu and select the desired input. The image of the selected input appears on the TV screen, "BT TX" appears in the front panel display, then the sound is output from the headphones or speaker. No sound is output from the system. For selecting input, see "Using the Home Menu" (page 12). 7 Adjust the volume. Adjust the volume level of the headphones or speaker first. When connected with headphones or speakers, the volume level of the headphones or speaker can be controlled with VOL +/- on the unit and  +/- on the remote control. To cancel pairing Cancel pairing of the headphones or speaker in step 4. To remove a registered device from the device list 1 Follow steps 1 to 5 of "Listening to Sound by Pairing with Headphones or Speakers." 2 Select the name of the headphones or speaker, and then press OPTIONS. 3 Select [Remove]. 4 Follow the on-screen instructions to delete the desired headphones or speaker from the device list. 27US

Listening to Sound of the
Connected TV or Device

Speakers
You can listen to sound of the
connected TV or device from
BLUETOOTH-compatible headphones
or speakers by connecting it with the
BLUETOOTH function.

Press HOME.
The home menu appears on the TV
screen.

Select
[Setup] from the home
menu.
The setup display appears on the TV
screen.

Select [Bluetooth Settings] -
[Bluetooth Mode] - [Transmitter].
The system enters BLUETOOTH
transmission mode.

Set the BLUETOOTH-compatible
headphones or speaker to the
pairing mode.
Refer to the operating instructions
of the headphones or speaker for
pairing method.

headphones or speaker from the
[Device List] in [Bluetooth
Settings].
When the BLUETOOTH connection
is established, [Bluetooth device is
connected.] appears. (The
connected device name also
