Searching by index mark (Index Search) You can easily jump to the recorded area you want to hear by entering the index mark number that is memorized automatically or manually. 3 4 2 5 1 Here are the steps when playing a disc with deck A. You can use deck B by following the same steps. 1 Insert the disc to be searched into deck A. 2 Set the SEARCH selector to INDEX SEARCH. 3 Press DECK A. "000" will start to blink. Tip You can also enter the index number using the jog dial or the J/j buttons. Notes If you try to search for an index number that does not exist, the recorder searches for the final index number. blink 4 Enter the index number you are searching for. Enter this number while "000" is blinking on the display. 5 Press SEARCH. After searching for an index number entered during playback, the unit will continue to playback. After searching for an index number entered during stopping, the unit will stop. Basic Operations 17
