Erasing a Disc You can erase the recorded contents of a disc. One whole disc is erased at a time. 1 3 7 4, 5, 6, 7 2 Note Up to 3 index names can be displayed on the DISC ERASE screen, even if more index names have been entered onto the disc. Here are the steps when using deck A. You can use deck B by following the same steps. 1 Insert the key and set it to ON. 2 Insert the disc to be erased into deck A. 3 Press FUNCTION. 4 Select DISC ERASE and press ENTER. You will see the DISC ERASE screen. If the disc title and index names have been entered, they will be displayed. 5 Select DECK A and press ENTER. You will see the DISC ERASE PASSWORD INPUT screen. 28 Basic Operations

Erasing a Disc
Here are the steps when using deck A.
You can use deck B by following the same steps.

Insert the key and set it to ON.

Insert the disc to be erased into deck A.

Press FUNCTION.

Select DISC ERASE and press ENTER.
You will see the DISC ERASE screen. If the disc title and index
names have been entered, they will be displayed.

Select DECK A and press ENTER.
You will see the DISC ERASE PASSWORD INPUT screen.
