Using the Floppy Disk Drive (optional) Using the Floppy Disk Drive (optional) You can connect the optional floppy disk drive (FDD) to the (USB) connector on your computer. To connect the floppy disk drive ✍ You do not need to shut down the computer before connecting or disconnecting the floppy disk drive. Before removing the FDD, see “To remove the floppy disk drive when the computer is on” on page 70. Plug the USB cable from the floppy disk drive into the (USB) connector on the computer.
