Symptom Cannot connect to the network. An error message indicating a conflict between network components is displayed. Cause/Remedy The Access Point and the computer are too far apart. c Move the computer closer to the Access Point. Communication settings are incorrect. c Check the settings for Network Name, Data Security, Profile, and so on. Check the versions of related software and hardware (such as Client Manager, Wireless LAN PC Card, Access Point, and so on), and obtain updates if required. To check the version, right-click the Client Manager icon on the taskbar, and select Help - Version Info from the submenu. 56
