Settings (continued) Headphone setting (XLR) MENU HEADPHONE XLR BALANCED Set the driver type of the headphones connected to the BALANCED PHONES jack. BALANCED Balanced headphones are operated with differential drive. The negative and positive connectors operate with opposite polarities. ACTIVE GROUND The amp drives so that the negative connector of balanced headphones is 0 V. Display brightness MENU DIMMER BRIGHT BRIGHT Bright SLIGHTLY BRIGHT Lit dimly DARK Dark AUTO OFF Turns off automatically oo The display turns off when not being operated. Screen indication Select the information shown to the right of the playback source. MENU DISPLAY TYPE VOLUME VOLUME The volume is shown. SAMPLING FREQ. Information about the playback source is shown. Automatic power saving function This unit has an automatic power saving function. oo The automatic power saving function is on when the unit is shipped new from the factory. MENU AUTO POWER SAVING ON OFF The automatic power saving function is disabled. ON The unit will automatically enter standby mode if no audio is output and no operation is conducted for about 30 minutes. Volume display MENU VOLUME TYPE STEP (0-100) This sets how the volume is shown. STEP (0-100) This shows the volume in steps from 0 (minimum) to 100 (maximum). dB This shows the volume in decibels (dB). 24
