USING THE INSTANT STANDBY FUNCTION When you have finished with a call, placing the handset back on the base unit automatically causes the handset to go into Standby mode, and hangs up the phone. There's no need to press the TALK button to hang up. (mi4o6) • PRS 7 CE (ayi .c 4 (oTAI-71 The REDIAL/PAUSE (RDL/P) button dials the last number (up to 32 digits) that you called. This feature is extremely useful when the number you called is busy. To use this feature, simply press the RDL/P button immediately after selecting the talk mode. The last number called will then be dialed again. MEM FLASH TONE RUA = = TOSS I3A V.> JD The FLASH button is used to send a timed hookflash on the telephone line for accessing services such as call waiting, etc. (Call Waiting is a telephone company service). To use this feature, simply press the FLASH button while in the talk mode. FLASH may also be used to obtain a new dial tone. If you have rotary (Pulse) telephone service, the TONE button allows you to access a computer or computer-based services such as Sprint, MCI, etc., that respond to Tone signals only.
