USING THE PAGE BUTTON CHARGE POWER 0 0 ■ PAGE The Page function sends a signal from the base unit to the handset. To use this feature, simply press the PAGE button on the base unit. Note The handset keeps beeping while pressing the PAGE mutton. CD MEMORY DIALING You can store up to 20 of your most frequently-called telephone numbers in memory by using the MEM button. STORING NUMBERS IC) Pick up the handset from the base unit. (Do not press the TALK button.) ® Press the MEM button. • Dial the desired telephone number. ;4) Press the MEM button. ® Select and press the numbers 01 to 20 for whichever number memory you wish to use. If you have more telephone numbers to store in memory, repeat the steps from 0 to ®. ® Return the handset to the base unit. ® Record the telephone numbers on the SPEED DIAL INDEX CARD which is located at the back of the handset. EXAMPLE: CMEM) o © D to CmEm) a) • Notes • Phone numbers of up to 16 digits (including a digit for a pause or a tone) can be stored. • Be sure to listen for the tone or pulsing sound as you press each number. This will ensure that the number pressed has been properly entered into storage. • When the number you have entered has been successfully stored, a long beep will be heard. • If you make any mistakes, start from step (2). • If you enter a number that exceeds 16 digits, warning tone will be heard. - 16 -
