USING PAUSE FUNCTION This RDL/P (REDIAL/PAUSE) button is very useful when making an outgoing call through a PBX and using long-distance services. Each time the RDL/P button is pressed, a pause of about four seconds will be inserted during the dialing sequence. If more than four seconds are needed, press the button twice. Example: To store the number "0-1234567" in memory for a call through a PBX, follow these steps. USING CHAIN DIALING This function is useful in dialing numbers longer than 16 digits. For example a long distance number and a credit card number could be in 2 memory locations. .
