[Delete] This deletes a song from Storage memory or from a USB storage device. It is not possible to delete a preset song or current song. The following is a detailed procedure of Step 4. 4-1 Press the C [-][+] buttons to select a song to delete. To select Storage memory or USB storage device: Press the D [-] button to display "DriveSelected?→" and press the C [-][+] buttons to select Storage memory or USB storage device. Then, press the B [+ (YES)] button or D [+] button to display the content of the Storage memory or USB storage device and select a song by pressing the C [-][+] buttons. 4-2 Press the B [+ (YES)] button located next to "Exe- cute?→." Follow the instructions on screen. TIP After you delete a song, the Clavinova automatically updates the song numbers. TIP When you delete a folder, all files within that folder will be deleted. TIP If a folder is displayed for an External song, the [ / ] indicator is displayed in the lower right of the screen. In this case, you can use the D [+] button to open the folder. Press the D [-] button to return to the previous (upper) level. CAUTION Do not turn off the power or eject the media while "Executing" is shown in the display. → CLP-280/270 Owner's Manual 47
