42 Voice List ˙ Voice Polyphony The PortaTone has a maximum polyphony of 28 - in other words, it can play up to 28 individual notes at the same time. This includes all Voices used: Dual, Split, Auto Accompaniment, and Song. If the maximum polyphony is exceeded, some notes and sounds may be cut off. Another feature affecting polyphony is the fact that some Voices are actually made up of two Voices (as indicated in the list below).
