MULTI MULTI The MULTI edit mode allows 8 different voices to be assigned to different MIDI channels. The assigned voices can then be individually controlled over the appropriate channels from an external MIDI sequence recorder or other controller. If a number of these channel/voice "parts" are assigned to the MIDI transmit channel of the SY35, they can all be played simultaneously from the SY35 keyboard. Individual characteristics of each voice, such as volume and detune, can also be programmed.
