Keyless Access System Check Keyless Access System KEYLESS ACCESS SYSTEM INDICATOR In this case, use the built-in key to lock/unlock the doors and insert the keyless access remote into the slot to start the engine (see page 197 ). Check Keyless Starting System KEYLESS ACCESS SYSTEM INDICATOR The indicator comes on and stays on in any power mode. The multi-information display shows ''CHECK KEYLESS STARTING SYSTEM.'' In this case, you should not shut off your engine until you are in a safe location or at your dealer, as your vehicle may not restart. Instruments and Controls Have your vehicle checked by your dealer if: The keyless access system indicator comes on and stays on while you are driving.
