In extremely cold weather it maybe necessary to stop or slow the vehicle to shift out of 2H. To shift into or out of 4L or N (Neutral): 1. Slowthevehicle to a roll,about 3 mph (5 km/h)andshiftyour transmissionintoneutral. 2. Shiftthetransfercaseshiftlever in onecontinuousmotion. Don'tpause in N (Neutral)asyoushiftthetransfercaseinto gearscouldclash. 4L, or your Remember thatdrivingin 4H or 4L mayreduce fuel economy.
