How to Remove and Replace the Floor Mats To remove the floor mats, pull up on the rear of the mat to disconnect from the locator hooks. Roof Panel Removing theRoof Panel I Don't try to remove the roof panel while the vehicle is moving. Trying remove the roof to panel whilethe vehicle is moving could cause an accident. The panel could fall into the vehicle and cause you to lose control,or it could fly off and strike anothervehicle. You or otherscould be injured. Remove the roof panel only when the vehicle isparked. Until you are sure you can remove the panel alone, have someone help you. To reinstall the floor mats, line up the openings in the floor matover the locator hooks and push down into place.
