1-6 In Brief Safety Locks The vehicle has rear door safety locks to prevent passengers from opening the rear doors from the inside. Manual Safety Locks To return the door to normal operation, open the door and turn the slot to the vertical position. Power Safety Locks This feature may be configured. See Vehicle Personalization on page 5-35. Power Door Locks K: Q: Press to unlock the doors. Press to lock the doors. If equipped, open the rear doors to access the safety locks on the inside edge of each door. To activate, insert a key into the slot and turn it to the horizontal position. The door can only be opened from the outside. If equipped, press o { to activate the safety locks. The indicator light comes on when activated. The rear door power windows are also disabled. See Power Windows on page 2-20. Press o { again to deactivate the safety locks and power windows. See Power Door Locks on page 2-12.
