28 GENERAL INFORMATION OFF ON Engine off. All electrical circuits off. Engine on. All electrical equipment can be used. żIf you leave the P(Park) position on for a long time, the battery may become totally discharged. żBe sure to turn the ignition key to OFF or P(Park) when parking the motorcycle. Engine off. Taillight and P (Park) licence plate light on. All other electrical circuits cut off. żThe tail, running position and license NOTE plate lights are on whenever the ignition switch is in the ON position. The headlight goes on when the starter button is released after starting the engine. To avoid battery discharge, always start the engine immediately after turning the ignition key to ON.

NOTE

If you leave the P(Park) position on
