Have your authorized Kawasaki dealer inspect and clean or replace the fuel filter in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart, or whenever any foreign material or water can be seen trapped in the fuel filter.

Place a suitable container under the carburetor.
Turn out the drain screw a few turns to drain the
carburetor, and check to see if water or dirt has
accumulated in the carburetor.

If any water or dirt appears during the above oper-
ation, have the fuel system checked by an autho-
rized Kawasaki dealer.
Fuel Filter
The vehicle is equipped the fuel filter at the middle
of the fuel line to prevent dirt or other foreign material
from entering the carburetor and fuel pump.
Have your authorized Kawasaki dealer inspect
and clean or replace the fuel filter in accordance
with the Periodic Maintenance Chart, or whenever
any foreign material or water can be seen trapped
in the fuel filter.
