MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT 111 Joint Boots In accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart, inspect the joint boots on the front axles, tie rod ends, and steering knuckles for cracks, holes, damage or deterioration. If there is any one of them, have the joint boot replaced by an authorized Kawasaki dealer. j A. A. Tire Depth Gauge
Minimum Tread Depth: 3 mm (0.12 in.)
•
Visually inspect the tire for cracks and cuts, replac-
ing the tire in case of bad damage.
Swelling or
high spots indicate internal damage, requiring tire
replacement.
•
