A. Oil Filler Plug and Dipstick
B. Insert the dipstick into the filler hole but do not
screw it in.
C. “H” (High) Line
D. “L” (Low) Line
If the oil level is too high, remove the excess oil,
using a syringe or other suitable device, through
the oil filler opening.
If the oil level is too low, add the correct amount of
oil.
Install the filler plug and dipstick.
NOTE

Use the same type and brand of oil that is already
in the transmission case.
Oil Change
NOTE

Before draining the oil, warm it up by running the
vehicle. Warm oil drains easily and picks up any
sediment.
With the vehicle level, apply the parking brake se-
curely.
Place an oil pan beneath the transmission case.
Remove the drain plug.
