Practical hints Vehicle status messages in the multifunction display Display messages Please correct the tire pressure. Possible cause/consequence Vehicles with Advanced TPMS (Canada only): The tire pressure is too low in one or more tires. or The tire pressures of the individual tires differ from each other significantly. The tire pressure values are shown in the multifunction display. Vehicles with Advanced TPMS (Canada only): One or more tires are deflating. The respective tire is indicated in the multifunction display. Vehicles with Advanced TPMS (Canada only): The tire pressure in one or more tires is already below the minimum value. The respective tire is indicated in the multifunction display. Possible solution X Check and correct tire inflation pressure as required (Y page 255). Caution Tire Pressure Tire Defect X Carefully bring the vehicle to a halt, avoiding abrupt steering and braking maneuvers. X If necessary, change the wheel (Y page 355). Check Tires X Carefully bring the vehicle to a halt, avoiding abrupt steering and braking maneuvers. X Check and adjust tire pressure as required. X If necessary, change the wheel (Y page 355). G Warning! Do not drive with a flat tire. A flat tire affects the ability to steer or brake the vehicle. You may lose control of the vehicle.
