Fuses & Circuit Breakers Look at the silver-colored band inside the fuse. the If band is brokenor melted, replace the fuse. Be sure you replace a bad fuse with a new one of the correct size. The wiring circuits in your vehicle are protected from short circuits by a combination of fuses and circuit breakers. The main fuse panel is located on the left sideof the instrument panel. To access the fuses, open the fuse panel door. I I NOTICE: Never install a higher rated fuse. Damage to your vehicle wiring may result with an incorrect fuse. 6-52
