Updating the Driver and Firmware You can download the latest drivers and firmware from the 3ware website, at www.3ware.com. Note: Information in this section applies to updating drivers and firmware for the 9550SX and 9590SE controllers. The 3ware website also allows you to download drivers for other 3ware controller models and associated release notes. For Windows, the firmware and driver can be installed from the same download. When you run the utility, you can choose to update both the driver and the firmware, or only the driver. For Linux and FreeBSD, updating the driver and updating the firmware are done separately. You can download them individually from the website. Note: For Linux, do not use the driver from the external Linux distribution as it is older than the currently supported driver. Instead, use the driver from the 3ware CD or from the 3ware web site.
