6 Getting to know your tablet No. Item Description 1 Microphone Receives audio for video chats and Internet calls. 2 Power button Press and hold to turn the tablet on, press briefly to turn the screen on/off or enter sleep mode; press and hold to turn the tablet off. Connects to a computer via a USB cable. 3 Micro USB port (Slave) Also serves as the charging port for the AC adapter. For more information, see "Charging your tablet" on page 8. 4 3.5 mm headphone jack Connects to stereo headphones. 5 microSD card slot Accepts a microSD card up to 32 GB (supports SDHC). 6 SIM card slot Insert a micro SIM card into the slot (see "Inserting a SIM card" on page 7). 7 HDMI Micro connector External display and audio connector. 8 Shutdown pinhole Insert a small thin object (such as a paperclip) into the hole to shut down the tablet. 9 Stereo speakers Emit audio. 10 Front-facing camera A 0.3-megapixel camera for video chats and self-portrait images. 11 Touchscreen 10.1-inch, 1280 x 800 pixel capacitive touchscreen. 12 Rear-facing camera A 5-megapixel camera. 13 Volume control button Increases or decreases the speaker volume.
