28 Chapter 2 Preparation for use Connecting with an analog video source Analog connection: 1 Connect a signal cable (VGA or YPbPr cable), to the VGA or AV IN connector. 2 Select AV, Component, or VGA using the SOURCE button on the LCD display, or the SOURCE button on the infrared remote control. Once selected, the audio automatically switches to [LINE IN]. Audio connection: • Connect an audio cable (ø3.5-mm stereo mini) (commercially available), to the LINE IN connector. Because the audio automatically switches to [LINE IN], the audio is output simply by connecting the cable. The display automatically distinguishes the timings shown in the table below, and sets the screen information. When a PC or other device is connected, it automatically displays images properly. Connecting with an analog video source
Analog connection:

Connect a signal cable (VGA or YPbPr cable), to the VGA or AV IN connector.

Select AV, Component, or VGA using the SOURCE button on the LCD display, or the SOURCE button on the
infrared remote control. Once selected, the audio automatically switches to [LINE IN].
