The Meaning of LED Indicators Snap Expansion S50 Enclosure, Disk Drive, APC Module, and Controller Behavior This section describes the LED indicators on the Snap Expansion S50 enclosure, disk drives, and APC modules. Enclosure LEDs On the right front of the Snap Expansion S50 (as shown in the following illustration) are four LEDs that indicate the status of the enclosure. 1 2 3 4 These LEDs operate as described in the following table: LED 1 2 3 4 Condition Indication On Enclosure power on. On Solid green Fault on enclosure. When a failure occurs on a controller or APC unit, the enclosure LEDs indicate an enclosure fault. Host Link. A solid green LED indicates communication with the SnapServer. Rapidly flashing green Unit ID. Identifies the expansion unit when you click the expansion unit ID link in the Disks and Units screen. Behavior
This section describes the LED indicators on the Snap Expansion S50 enclosure, disk
drives, and APC modules.
Enclosure LEDs
On the right front of the Snap Expansion S50 (as shown in the following illustration)
are four LEDs that indicate the status of the enclosure.
These LEDs operate as described in the following table:
Disk Drive LEDs
Each disk drive has three LEDs that indicate the status of the disk drive.
