ECC Configuration The ECC Configuration menu allows you to change the DRAM ECC settings. DRAM ECC Enable [Enabled] Allows hardware to report and correct memory errors automatically maintaining system integrity. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] The following three items appear when the DRAM ECC Enable set [Enabled]. 4-bit ECC Mode [Disabled] Enables or Disables 4-BIT ECC Mode (Note: Also known as CHIPKILL ECC Mode). Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] DRAM SCRUB REDIRECT [Disabled] Allows the system to correct DRAM ECC errors immediately when they occur, even if background scrubbing is on. Configuration options: [ADisabled] [Enabled] DRAM BG Scrub [Disabled] DRAM Scrubbing corrects memory errors so later reads are correct. Doing this while memory is not being used improves performance.
