2 Knowing the Parts Battery Lock The spring loaded latch (lock 2) automatically locks the battery pack when inserted but must be reinforced with a manually operated latch (lock 1). Usage details are described in the battery section later in this manual. Memory Compartment The memory compartment contains an expansion slot for additional memory. Memory installation or upgrades must be done by an authorized retailer or else warranty will be void. Air Vents The air vents allow cool air to enter and warm air to exit the Notebook PC. IMPORTANT! Make sure that paper, books, clothing, cables, or other objects do not block any of the air vents or else overheating of the Notebook PC may occur. 19

Battery Lock

Air Vents
The air vents allow cool air to enter and warm air to exit the Notebook PC.
