Is the software copied on the server? Is there a DVD drive on server? ■ Do you have access to an Administrator for all sites? Do you have remote login from main site to each remote sites? ■ Do all remote sites have a latest copy of the file store with a backup package (for existing ADMS customers)? ■ Are all Windows updates current on all servers? ■ Are virus scans turned off? ■ Are firewalls turned off? ■ Are TCP Port 1433 and UDP Port 1434 blocked by firewall? Install Vault Server on Additional Sites After installing the remote SQL instance and setting up your main Vault server site, install additional Vault sites. The additional sites in the multi-site environment must have the Vault Collaboration or Professional server installed and configured to access the SQL instance used by the first site. The connection to the remote SQL instance is configured during the installation of the data management server. Follow these steps for each additional site. 1 On the remote site, insert the Autodesk Vault Collaboration or Professional installation media. 2 On the installation screen, select either Autodesk Collaboraion or Professional data management server. 3 From the Select the Products to Install page, select Autodesk Vault server 2011, and then click Next. Pre-Install Checklist

Install Vault Server on Additional Sites
After installing the remote SQL instance and setting up your main Vault server
site, install additional Vault sites. The additional sites in the multi-site
environment must have the Vault Collaboration or Professional server installed
