Using the Scanner Glass You can use the scanner glass to copy one page at a time, or pages of a book. Originals can be letter or A4 size. To use the scanner glass, the ADF must be empty. You can make multiple copies; however, if you want them sorted you must use the ADF. Originals are Face Down on the Scanner Glass 1 Lift the document cover. 2 Using the document guidelines on the left, center the original face down on the scanner glass. 3 Close the document cover. STACK 100% COPIES:01 If the original is a book or is thick, do not slam the cover or press on it or you may damage the machine. 4 Press Copy to begin copying. 5 Repeat Steps 1 to 4 for each page of your original. Using the Scanner Glass
You can use the scanner glass to copy one page at a time, or pages of a book.
Originals can be letter or A4 size. To use the scanner glass, the ADF must be
empty. You can make multiple copies; however, if you want them sorted you
must use the ADF.

Lift the document cover.

Using the document guidelines on the left, center the original
face down
on the
scanner glass.

Close the document cover.

Press
Copy
to begin copying.

Repeat Steps 1 to 4 for each page of your
original.
Press
Stop
to cancel.
If the original is a book or is thick, do not slam the cover or press on it or you
may damage the machine.
Originals are Face Down
