Cleaning the outside of the machine A a Turn off the machine's power switch. b Disconnect all cables, and then unplug the power cord from the AC power outlet. c Wipe the outside of the machine with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove dust. Routine maintenance f Remove anything that is stuck inside the paper tray. g Wipe the inside and the outside of the paper tray with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove dust. dry, lint-free cloth to remove dust.

Pull the paper tray completely out of the
machine.

If paper is loaded in the paper tray,
remove it.

Remove anything that is stuck inside the
paper tray.

Wipe the inside and the outside of the
paper tray with a dry, lint-free cloth to
remove dust.

Re-load the paper and put the paper tray
firmly back in the machine.

Plug the machine’s power cord back into
the AC power outlet first, then connect
all cables.

Turn on the machine’s power switch.
