Cleaning the outside of the machine A a Turn off the machine's power switch. b Disconnect all cables, and then unplug the power cord from the AC power outlet. c Wipe the outside of the machine with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove dust. Routine maintenance f Remove anything that is stuck inside the paper tray. g Wipe the inside and the outside of the paper tray with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove dust. A d Pull the paper tray completely out of the machine. h Re-load the paper and put the paper tray firmly back in the machine. i Plug the machine's power cord back into the AC power outlet first, then connect all cables. j Turn on the machine's power switch. e If paper is loaded in the paper tray, remove it. 25

Wipe the outside of the machine with a
dry, lint-free cloth to remove dust.

Pull the paper tray completely out of the
machine.

If paper is loaded in the paper tray,
remove it.
f
Remove anything that is stuck inside the
paper tray.
g
Wipe the inside and the outside of the
paper tray with a dry, lint-free cloth to
remove dust.
h
Re-load the paper and put the paper tray
firmly back in the machine.
i
Plug the machine’s power cord back into
the AC power outlet first, then connect
all cables.
j
Turn on the machine’s power switch.
