Scanner Grounding Plate, Reassembling Notes, Once removed

1.21 Scanner Grounding Plate (1) Make sure that the heat-fixing unit is removed. (2) Remove the screw from the scanner grounding plate and take it off. (If the bottom plate has not been removed, remove front screw "c" also (see page IV-29) that secures both the scanner grounding plate and bottom plate.) (3) You may peel off the anti-static brush from the scanner grounding plate. n Reassembling Notes • Once removed, the anti-static brush will become unusable and new one will have to be put back in. • Before attaching a new anti-static brush onto the scanner grounding plate, wipe the surface of the attaching place with a cloth dampened with alcohol. • When reinstalling the scanner grounding plate, fit it over the two bosses of the main cover. Scanner Grounding Plate

Make sure that the heat-fixing unit is removed.
(2)
Remove the screw from the scanner grounding plate and take it off.
(If the bottom plate has
not been removed, remove front screw "c" also (see page IV-29) that secures both the
scanner grounding plate and bottom plate.)

You may peel off the anti-static brush from the scanner grounding plate.

Reassembling Notes
Once removed, the anti-static brush will become unusable and new one will have to be put
back in.
Before attaching a new anti-static brush onto the scanner grounding plate, wipe the surface of
