CHAPTER 1 ABOUT THIS PRINTER Drum LED indications The Drum LED indicates the drum unit is nearly at the end of its life. LED r q Printer status The drum unit can be used. The drum unit is near the end of its life. Purchase a new drum unit to replace the current one. See "How to replace the drum unit" in Chapter 3. Alarm LED indications The Alarm LED blinks (with no other LEDs) to indicate a printer error status such as "COVER OPEN" or "MEMORY FULL." If any other error occurs, the printer indicates the error by blinking the Alarm LED with another LED or by printing an error report.
