CRVW3 3-Channel Vibrating-Wire Datalogger NOTE If you are using PakBus Encryption, the proper key should be entered in this screen. This key should match the value that was previously set in the CRVW3 using the PakBus tab in the Settings Editor tab of DevConfig. Refer to the online help system of DevConfig, PakBus Encryption Key field topic for more information. Also, if a Security Level 1, Security Level 2, or Security Level 3 code was set for the CRVW3 in DevConfig's PakBus tab, put the proper code in the Security Code box of this screen. Now switch to the Clock tab. The Check Clocks and Set Station Clock buttons should be active. If they are not, press the Apply button. Press the Check Clocks button to instruct LoggerNet to send a clock check command through the base station to the destination CRVW3 station. If the radio link is working, the current date and time should show up in the Adjusted Server Date/Time and Station Date/Time boxes within a few seconds. If LoggerNet returns an error after the clock check attempt, then something is wrong with the radio link or the configuration of LoggerNet and troubleshooting needs to occur. Investigate at both the radio level and at the LoggerNet level. In-field validation with a temporary laptop computer running LoggerNet helps to validate radio links while still in the field and reduces the need to return to the CRVW3 sites to investigate radio problems. See Section 13, Troubleshooting CRVW3 Networks, for additional troubleshooting procedures, or contact your local Campbell Scientific support representative. If the clock check was successful, and you want the station time to be synchronized with the LoggerNet computer station time, press Set Station Clock. If the clock check executed successfully, then the set clock operation should also work, otherwise troubleshooting may be needed. To add additional CRVW3 devices to your network map, you don't need to add a ComPort, IPPort or PakBusPort again. Simply click on the existing PakBusPort device and then Press the Add button.
