CRVW3 3-Channel Vibrating-Wire Datalogger Once you have arrived at the site, review physical installation and hardware configuration issues that are detailed in Section 8.2, Field Deployment of the CRVW3. Refer to the maintenance items listed in Section 12.2, CRVW3 Onsite Maintenance Visits. Connect to the CRVW3 with a USB cable and DevConfig then use the DataMonitor tab and Troubleshoot tab to investigate how the measurements of the sensors are working or not (see Section 8.2.8.2, Validation with DevConfig). Compare the current spectrum with a baseline spectrum saved during maintenance (see Section 12.1.2, Sensor Spectrum Checks). Refer to Section 10, Complex (Large) Radio Networks, for details that will help troubleshoot radio connectivity problems. Use a portable base station (RF450 and laptop) to ensure you can communicate with the CRVW3 over its radio. It may be necessary to visit the base station or a repeater station to fully investigate radio network problems. Contact your local Campbell Scientific support representative for additional help when troubleshooting problems with CRVW3 operation or radio connectivity. 86
