Adjusting Brightness and Contrast You can adjust the brightness and contrast of a color or grayscale image. To adjust the brightness and contrast: 1. Select the image or a portion of the image. 2. Click Brightness and Contrast on the Adjust menu or toolbar. In the Brightness and Contrast dialog box, the original image appears on the left of the dialog box.
