Shooting Using the LCD Monitor You can use the LCD monitor as a viewfinder for shooting images. It is particularly recommended for shooting in macro mode, since the field shown by the optical viewfinder differs from the actual area photographed in that mode. Using the LCD monitor as a Viewfinder for Shooting 1. Open the LCD monitor to a comfortable position for viewing. 2. Set the mode dial to auto or program. 3. Press the LCD/Video button. The LCD monitor will turn on. Press the LCD/Video button.
The LCD monitor will turn on.
