• Program Mode (aperture-priority AE mode) The flash will fire at full strength under the following conditions. Shutter Speed: 1/90 second fixed ISO Sensitivity: 100 equivalent (large image size) 200 equivalent (small image size) Exposure Compensation: Incapable of firing Select the optimal aperture setting according to the flash guide number and the distance from the subject. 2. Press the shutter button halfway. The indicator will flash red while the flash is charging. The indicator will stop flashing and shine red when the flash is ready for shooting. The [ ] flash icon will also display on the LCD if it is on. If, however, the autofocus cannot lock on a subject, the indicator will flash green instead of red. To check the flash charge status in this case, refer to the indicator on the flash unit or the flash icon in the LCD monitor. 3.
