Installation Precautions Precautions When Carrying the Projector Prepare the projector as described below before carrying it. • Disconnect the cables connected to the projector. Carrying the projector with the cables attached may cause an accident. • Retract the adjustable feet. • When the projector is transported after the lens unit is installed, be sure that you do not grasp the lens while transporting it. Doing so may damage the projector. Installation Precautions Be sure to read "Safety Instructions" on page 10 - 22. Pay attention to the following when installing the projector. • Do not strike the projector or subject it to impact. Exhaust • Do not block the cooling fan intake or exhaust vent. If the intake or exhaust vent is blocked, heat may accumulate inside the projector, causing a malfunction. Precautions When Carrying and Transporting the Projector • Do not reuse any packaging or shock-absorbent materials that were supplied with the projector at the time of purchase for transporting or shipping the projector. Protection of the projector cannot be guaranteed if used packaging or shockabsorbent materials are reused.
