Confirm Network Settings and check (ON) for mDNS. An error occurs in Scanning Utility while scanning. If a message such as "Currently in use by another user" is displayed, check the network cable. If it is not properly plugged in, make sure it is firmly connected, then turn off the power and turn it back on again. The "WEB MENU" does not display, or a message saying "This page cannot be displayed" is displayed. Check Canon imageFORMULA Utility and set the correct IP address. Clearing Paper Jams If paper has jammed, open the Maintenance Cover and remove the jammed paper. CAUTION • Be careful when you clear a paper jam. You may be injured unexpectedly. For example, the paper edges may cut your fingers, or the document may be damaged. • Remove all jammed sheets of paper. Paper scraps left inside the scanner may cause a paper jam or malfunction. A Remove scanned documents from the Eject Pocket. B Press and hold the Start Button. The jammed document is ejected into the Eject Pocket. 55
