English Connect to a Wi-Fi Network Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi network manually if you want to add a Wi-Fi network when it is not in range, or to connect to a router that has been set to obscure the network name (SSID). 1. Open the Wi-Fi settings menu. To do so: a. Go to the Home screen: Press the Home key. b. Open the Settings menu: Press the Menu key, then touch Settings. c. Open the Wireless & networks menu: Touch Wireless & networks. d. Open the Wi-Fi settings menu: Touch Wi-Fi settings. 2. Turn on the Wi-Fi radio if it is not already on. —— Make sure that the Wi-Fi option box is checked: Touch Wi-Fi. 3. Open the "Add Wi-Fi network" screen. —— Touch Add Wi-Fi network located at the bottom of the screen (after the list of discovered networks). Page 25 Connecting To The Internet
