Figure 7-50 mSATA SSD location To remove the mSATA SSD: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparing to disassemble the computer on page 40). 2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 45). 3. Remove the two Phillips screws that secure the SSD to the computer. 4. Lift the SSD to a 45-degree angle, and then pull it away to remove it from the socket. To install the mSATA SSD, reverse the removal procedures. NOTE: mSATA SSD are designed with a notch to prevent incorrect insertion. WLAN module The WLAN module is located on the left side of the system board. The module is secured with one Phillips screw and has two connected antennas. NOTE: The procedure to replace the WLAN module must be performed by an HP technician. WLAN module 81

To remove the mSATA SSD:
1.
