Server Installation 2-5 The operating temperature inside the rack will always be higher than the room temperature, and is dependent on the configuration of equipment in your rack. The TMRA for each piece of equipment should be checked before installation. The maximum internal rack temperature for your configuration should not exceed the values shown in the following table. CAUTION:

Mountable ProLiant Servers or increase the internal rack temperature
beyond the Compaq specified maximum rating.

installed in the rack.
