The fields that can be configured in VRF Max Routes Settings are described below: Parameter Max Routes Warning Threshold None Description Enter the maximum number of routes within the VRF here. The range is from 1 to 16384. Enter the warning threshold value here. Notification messages will be sent when the number of routes reaches the threshold and no more routes will be written into the hardware. The range is from 1 to 100 percent. Select the warning-only option to specify that when the number of routes exceeds the threshold, a notification message will be sent. More routes, however, can still be written into the hardware. Select this option to disable the limit feature. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. The fields that can be configured in VRF Import Map Settings are described below: Parameter Import Map Name None Description Enter the name of the import Route Map of the VRF here. Select this option to disable the import of the Route Map. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. The fields that can be configured in Route Distinguisher Settings are described below: Parameter Route Distinguisher Description Enter the Route Distinguisher (RD) of the VRF here. This is used to prepend an 8bytes value to an IPv4 prefix to create a VPN-IPv4 prefix. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. The fields that can be configured in VPN Route Target Community Settings are described below: Parameter Route Target Extended Community Route Target Type Description Enter the value of the Route Target here. The Route Target is a useful VPN application. One VRF can have multiple route targets. Select the Route Target type here. Options to choose from are: • Import - Specifies to add an import Route Target to import routing information from the target VPN extended community. • Export - Specifies to add an export Route Target to export routing information to the target VPN extended community. • Both - Specifies to add both an import Route Target and an export route target. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. After clicking the Show Detail button, the following page will appear. 239
