The fields that can be configured in IGMP Proxy Designated Forwarding Settings are described below: Parameter Interface VLAN Designated Forwarding Description Enter the VLAN interface ID here. The range is from 1 to 4094. Select to enable or disable designated forwarding on a non-querier IGMP proxy downstream interface here. To avoid local loops and redundant traffic for links that are considered downstream links by multiple IGMP-based forwarders, IGMP proxies use the IGMP querier election to elect a single forwarder on a LAN. Use this option to make a non-querier device a forwarder. The feature does not take effect if the interface is not set as the downstream interface or set as the upstream interface. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. IGMP Proxy Group Table This window is used to find and display IGMP proxy group information.
