Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. The fields that can be configured in MLD Proxy Upstream Settings are described below: Parameter Interface VLAN Upstream Description Enter the VLAN interface ID here. The range is from 1 to 4094. Select to enable or disable the interface as the upstream MLD proxy here. This feature only takes effect if the interface has an IPv6 address configured. Only one upstream interface can exist on a MLD proxy device. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. The fields that can be configured in MLD Proxy Downstream Settings are described below: Parameter Interface VLAN Downstream Description Enter the VLAN interface ID here. The range is from 1 to 4094. Select to enable or disable the interface as the downstream MLD proxy here. This feature only takes effect when the interface has an IPv6 address configured. Multiple downstream interfaces can be configured on an MLD proxy device. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. The fields that can be configured in MLD Proxy Designated Forwarding Settings are described below: Parameter Interface VLAN Designated Forwarding Description Enter the VLAN interface ID here. The range is from 1 to 4094. Select to enable or disable designated forwarding on a non-querier MLD proxy downstream interface here. To avoid local loops and redundant traffic for links that are considered downstream links by multiple MLD-based forwarders, MLD proxies use the MLD querier election to elect a single forwarder on a LAN. Administrators can use this command to make a non-querier device a forwarder. This feature does not take effect if the interface is not set as the downstream interface or set as upstream interface. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. MLD Proxy Group Table This window is used to find and display MLD proxy group information. To view the following window, click L3 Features > IP Multicast Routing Protocol > MLD Proxy > MLD Proxy Group Table, as shown below: Figure 6-110 MLD Proxy Group Table Window The fields that can be configured are described below: 291
