It is also possible to use one ISDN B-channel for ISDN data calls (PPP, V.110, or V.120) and the other B-channel for ISDN Phone voice calls simultaneously. For example, use configuration utility to make or answer voice calls, and use appropriate APs, such as Hypertrm, Telix, and Microsoft Dial-Up Networking for ISDN data transfers. Making "Analog Fax/Modem over PSTN" Data Calls The analog Fax/Modem connections over PSTN are also possible in the ISDN MODEM PC Card. The function makes you connect to the remote party through normal analog telephone line (PSTN) if you could not get ISDN line at your places (home, office, hotel, or on the road). You can use fax or modem for your applications. 1. Switch the ISDN S/T- or U-interface network connection cable to analog fax/modem DAA network connection cable and hook up the analog telephone line. 2. Enter "Configuration Utility", and execute "Config" 3. Open "COM port setting". Select "Modem over PSTN" in "1st COM port setting". Click "Apply" and "OK". 4.
