Section 3 - Configuration Connection Type: Select PPPoE as a network connection type if your ISP uses PPPoE. Most DSL users use PPPoE. Obtain DNS Enable this option to obtain DNS automatically. Automatically: Primary DNS: Enter the primary DNS server IP address. Secondary DNS: Enter the secondary DNS server IP address. Username: Enter the PPPoE username provided by your ISP. Password: Enter the PPPoE password provided by your ISP. SNTP: Enable or disable the SNTP protocol. SNTP Server IP Enter the SNTP server IP address. SNTP server Address: allows the gateway to synchronize the local time with a remote server. Time Zone: Select the appropriate time zone. Daylight Saving: Enable or disable daylight saving. Sync Interval: Shows the periodic interval in which the gateway waits before it re-synchronizes the gateway's time with the specified SNTP server. Apply: Click Apply to update the settings. Section 3 - Configuration
Select PPPoE as a network connection type
if your ISP uses PPPoE. Most DSL users use
PPPoE.
Enable this option to obtain DNS automatically.
Enter the primary DNS server IP address.
Enter the secondary DNS server IP address.
Enter the PPPoE username provided by your
ISP.
Enter the PPPoE password provided by your
ISP.
Enable or disable the SNTP protocol.
Enter the SNTP server IP address. SNTP server
allows the gateway to synchronize the local time
with a remote server.
Select the appropriate time zone.
Enable or disable daylight saving.
Shows the periodic interval in which the gateway
waits before it re-synchronizes the gateway’s
time with the specified SNTP server.
Click
Apply
to update the settings.
